March roars!

Well, here in Uk March came in roaring with howling winds and rain. Snow across much of the country although we just had an excuse of rain/hail today amidst the glorious sun.

In my sister shop on Etsy, On a Whimsey, I have uploaded some more ACEOs and started to do slightly larger pictures too! Still much to learn but I am fascinated with the medium of encaustic art.

Crocus flowers are one of my favourite springtime flowers. They are neat even when waning after blooming.

In addition, I have also completed a nursery rhyme quilt for that special little boy. I created it using only vintage Laura Ashley fabrics of a patchwork medley of yellow with alternating squares of blue and white. In a random fashion I fused Laura Ashley nursery rhyme characters like the dish running away with the spoon (where they eloping?), the cat and the fiddle and, of course, the cow jumping over the moon.
