My first BBEST Swap gift!

For those of you who read my blog you will know that I am a very proud and active member of a group on Etsy called Boomers and Beyond Etsy Street Team or BBEST for short. Well recently we decided to have a swap between a crowd of us. This meant that Alis (alisclair) offered to organise a list of participants. Thus I would know who I was sending my item to but not who was sending one to me! The excitement grew as the end of the month started to draw near and the final date for swapping arrived. Who was going to send something to me? What would it be?Would the person I sent my item to, like it?

You can imagine the thought and worry that went into deciding what to make once we each knew the swap partner to whom we were due to send out item to.

The day dawned and the postman brought a package to me......... it came from the States, exciting enough! But, who was it from? Then I saw the name and was so excited....... but then I opened up a beautifully wrapped parcel and found the most beautiful journal in my favourite colours from a very very generous lady called Sue. I have often looked at her shop, Suebleiwess - and admired her work. Now, I actually owned one of her journals!!!!!!
I took a couple of pictures which do not do it justice. Not only does the journal look amazing from the outside but inside Sue has included different papers to write on as well as extra tags which have been placed in pockets within the journal. Pockets into which you could place receipts etc. So thoughtful!

Sue, a great big thank you for a wonderful swap! You made one little bunny into an extremely happy one!!!
